Life Changes

Child life interventions aim to increase coping and reduce the likelihood of stressful experiences negatively impacting the social and emotional well-being of children and their families. Sara, our child life specialist, emphasizes intentional family connection, the expressive arts, and therapeutic play.

We offer play-based coping, hands-on skill building, parenting and child development support, and upon request, offer faith-based services with a gospel-centered framework.

Community Partnerships
Child life specialists aim to mitigate the short- and long-term psychosocial impacts of stress, trauma, illness, injury, and loss on families. We partner with organizations across the public and private child-serving sectors (education, healthcare and behavioral health, corrections, and community justice and family-support systems) to support children and families in our community facing crisis or instability.
